The end of the calendar year is a good time to be shopping for a new two-wheeler purchase because there are always some discounts to be had. Case in point, the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available with a flat Rs 25,000 discount on its Rs 3.49 lakh ex-showroom price, bringing the effective ask down to Rs 3.24 lakh.

If you’re in the market for an affordable small-capacity adventure bike with a twin-cylinder engine then the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is currently your only option. Even before its recent discount, the government’s GST 2.0 regulation meant that it became more affordable than when it was launched. This Rs 25,000 end of year discount only sweetens the deal further for the smallest Versys. Do bear in mind that this discount is only available on the MY25 units of the Versys-X 300 and Kawasaki India has already started selling the MY26 models of the bike, although aside from different colours both are pretty much identical to one another.
In our road test review we conducted some months ago, we noted that the Versys-X 300 has a unique riding experience in the segment – mostly down to its twin-cylinder engine – but it is also a machine that clearly feels its age when compared to its rivals. If you are interested in purchasing the Versys-X 300, some things to bear in mind is that Kawasaki’s dealer network across India isn’t quite as widespread as other mainstream OEMs and its spares as well as service are on the pricier end of the spectrum.
Nevertheless, at its discounted Rs 3.25 lakh price tag, the Versys-X 300 makes for a unique purchase and if you are in the market for one, this offer is only valid till December 31 so it’s best to make a beeline to your nearest authorised Kawasaki dealership.
