This 1969 Honda CB750 is an early-production Sandcast example that is said to have been restored by World Motorcycles in San Bruno, California in 2006. It is finished in Candy Blue Green and is equipped with a 736cc inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission. Equipment includes kick and electric starters, four Keihin carburetors, a four-into-four exhaust system, a front disc brake, wire-spoke wheels, chrome fenders, street lighting, and a black vinyl two-up seat. The seller acquired the bike in 2016 and it has been stored on static display since 2020. This CB750 Sandcast is offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, and a clean Wyoming title in the seller’s name.
The fuel tank and side panels were refinished under previous ownership in Candy Blue Green. Details include chrome fenders, street lighting, a 4.8-gallon fuel tank, a black vinyl two-up seat, folding passenger footpegs, and both center and side stands. The motorcycle has no mirrors.
The wire-spoke 19″ and 18″ wheels with chromed steel rims wear Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with black rubber gaiters as well as dual partially shrouded shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum.
The chrome handlebar is mounted aft of Nippon Denso instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 1 mile, which is said to represent miles accumulated since the completion of the 2006 build.
The 736cc SOHC inline-four was factory rated at 67 horsepower and features an early-production “sandcast” case with a rough texture formed by a gravity-casting method rather than die-casting that was used for most of the model run. Details include kick and electric starters, a quartet of Keihin carburetors, and a four-into-four exhaust system. The seller states that the bike has been stored on static display and has not run since 2020.
Engine number 1005218 falls within the range of the approximately 7k Sandcast engines produced.
The motorcycle is equipped with a five-speed transmission and a drive chain with a black upper guard.
An owner’s manual and tool kit are included in the sale.
